IT Developer Analyst

The IT Developer Analyst provides development assistance internally for projects as needed. These may include API support, problem analysis, database monitoring and other development related tasks as they arise. Additional responsibilities include analyzing tasks company wide to find efficiencies and process to streamline problematically.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone and electronically
• Research questions using available information services
• Advise user on appropriate action
• Escalate/redirect issues to the appropriate support team/resource
• Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
• Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
• Inform management of recurring problems
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates
• Walk end users through problem-solving process
• Follow up with end users after issue resolution to see how they are doing
• Evaluate technical tasks for efficiencies

Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline plus industry certifications
• 3-5 years' industry experience in an IT development role
• sql server reporting
• The ability to diagnose and repair windows based applications
• Experience in visual coding languages
• Demonstrates effective customer service skills
• Demonstrates effective written / verbal communication skills (email, face to face and over the phone)
• Works with people beyond giving and receiving instructions, maintaining effective working relationships
• Performs under stress, dealing with persons acting under stress
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Occasionally lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Attendance Requirements:
Due to the nature of Health Insurance Innovations needs, regular and reliable attendance is required. Individuals must be able to work at least a 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday, and be available as situations arise requiring extended hours.
